Thanks RJ…I can hear family members now dismissing this as hyperbole…living in cloistered thought bubbles. Many live in San Francisco and constantly victim blame never having an answer to the question Why only here? As compared to similar liberal democracies…they know the answer but choose not to face it. I learned several years ago that Americans choose to not have social programs that would benefit everyone because they feel many of us are unworthy…the same people who deny what is staring them in the face.
