It is completely nauseating, the wars, the weapons. Have arms races made the world safer? Unlikely.

Apparently war is more addictive than opiods, including heroin, and fetany, and more destructive. What, how, and where is the way to rehab for the war addiction? If ever there was a time to intervene to prevent self-destruction, we are at that moment now.

A few months back I pondered the question, "What would a Ukraine War truce entail? and What would Russia accept in its terms? My leading argument was to favor a nuclear disarmament agreement principally between Russia and the USA though all nuclear nations are invited to participate. Its goal is to decrease by half the number of nuclear missiles in 5 to 10 years. (Currently Russia has about 6250 and USA about 5550). Next I questioned, What would Russia gain in exchange? Here too, another question arose. What do Russia oligarchs want in its conquest of Ukraine? My answer is plainlly Access to the Mediterranean and world commercial markets. This access would from be Crimean ports that would occur with reasonable fees by Ukraine. Hopefully, this truce agreement, especially with nuclear disarmament, would encourage world participation in rebuilding Ukraine cities.
